Sabo the Flame Emperor

The eighth of ten pieces for my Johnny Young Bosch compilation. Admittedly, at this point I've only really seen the grown-up Sabo in Film Gold and Stampede, but after seeing his backstory with Luffy and Ace prior to the time-skip I still couldn't resist adding him in. (And, what do you know? Sabo is another role Johnny took over after Vic...)

As for the sketch and speaking of the movies, I probably SHOULD have gone with his outfit from either Film Gold or Stampede because the black coat pared with the dark background on my reference here made mapping REALLY difficult... the sleeves and torso needed to be fixed digitally with minimal tracing because of that. The gloves and goggles on the other hand were flat-out traced in because I wasn't happy with how my attempt at either came out.

One Piece and all of it's characters, including Sabo belong to Eiichiro Oda, Viz Media, FUNimation, Toei Animation, Shonen Jump and any/all other respective owners. I do not own the series/character(s) in any way, I am just a fan.
