Sketch:
Not the cat that everyone else is drawing now (don't worry, I'll be jumping on that bandwagon soon enough) but I happened to notice one of the HBO channels showing the original Care Bears movie (I even caught it from the beginning not too long ago) and I couldn't help but draw my favorite Care Cousin. It also made me realize that the last THREE Care Bears series haven't bothered to include the Cousins, seemingly in favor of a gimmicky new character, which is very, VERY sad...
As for the sketch, I did end up using a star and heart cliparts to polish the belly badge and make sure the shapes were just right, but beyond that just my usual cleanup.
The Care Bears (as well as their Cousins) and all of it's characters, including Proud Heart, are (c) Those Characters from Cleveland, American Greetings, DiC and any other respective owners I may not have mentioned or know about. I do not own them in any way, shape or form, I am just a fan!
