I happened across a cute Korean Magical Girl show on Netflix a while back; Catch! Teenieping. It's clearly aimed at a younger audience, so it can be a little juvenile at times (even resorting to fart jokes once or twice...) and the dubbing is regrettably a bit rough since it seems that they just directly imported the English-language version from overseas (leading to some clunky dialogue and awkward deliveries) but overall its concept an theme are sound and it's still very cute. Of the five transformation featured in the first season, this one was my favorite because the others, admittedly, seemed a bit bland stylistically but this (and perhaps even the dubbing a bit?) already improved for the second season which was just released in late May.

As for the sketch... this one needed saving. The entire skirt and petticoat underneath had to be completely re-mapped because I just couldn't get it to look right. I would have also traced in her wand if I could since I just couldn't make out the finer details from my reference image, but I couldn't because the images I could find were limited so I ended up just kind of ad-libbing.  All of the ribbons were cleaned up using some of my other works for the sake of consistency and all of the musical symbols were cleaned using basic clip arts as well as the main heart shape for the wand. I also used a basic stripe pattern for the leggings, top and hat in order to keep them even and, again, consistent.
