Not sure if I've mentioned it before, but the second Cardcaptor Sakura movie is one of my favorite anime movies (or, at least, anime movies that are tried to a series and not stand-alone features like the Ghibli films) and while the battle costumes from the movie are among my favorites from the entire series, I love the prince and princess costumes from the play, too. I've wanted to draw them for a long time, but I was always scared off by all of the little pleats/creases.... and it looks like I was right to be afraid.... I would have liked to expand the frame just a tiny bit to fill in the rest of Sakura's wings, but thanks to that dress and those ribbons I was just happy to be able to finish it as it is.

As for the sketch, no major changes or fixes were required, but.... oh boy.... one of each of their hands....uh.... the ones in back had to be traced in because I wasn't happy with my attempt as well as a little bit of Syaoran's collar because the gold plating kind of melded together in my printed reference. The nine-pointed star on Sakura's choker was also cleaned up using a basic clipart.
