Misty caught Claucher

These last episodes of Ash's story have been nothing but an absolute love letter to the series as a whole and I have been loving every minute of it. I love that Ash is traveling with Brock an Misty again for now and that he is actually rotating his Pokemon again and that this whole episode was a throwback to the battle over Totodile. Before the last few episodes are over their may be a few more things I want to showcase, but for now I just love the way Misty has been reacting to water Pokemon here. It was actually a real tossup between this and her meeting Ash's Oshawott for what scene I Wanted to draw, but Clauncher won out in the end just because it was so nice to see her get a new Pokemon again after so long. It would be nice if we maybe got to see at least one of Ash's holdout Pokemon evolve like Cyndaquil did during his battle with Paul, but we'll see.

As for the sketch, this  one cleaned up very easily because their wasn't an over abundance of detail. All I really did was use one of the older drawings of Misty to help fill in the ponytail and expand the frame a bit. I'd have liked to expand it a bit more the other way as well, but the way the pants are cropped off in the shot made it difficult. I... also just noticed that I forgot the blush lines during the cleaning process, but they'll be there when it comes time for proper color.
