Description
No sketch here, this one is 100% digital manipulation/traced for the sake of looking as official as possible as well as achieving specific look I had in mind and for making it easier to edit/play with the features.
...and as if on cue, there goes my head-canon again, but I just couldn't help myself when I noticed that in the Pokémon Adventures/Special manga that Green (I'm more accustom to the ViZ dub names, but colored her according to the original names for my placeholders) and Red just happen to wear their Keystones as rings while Blue just wears his as a pendant, so.... WEDDING RINGS!
OHMYGOD did this give me trouble, though... even WITH the exact pose I wanted, figuring out how to change the hands to be interlaced was actual TORTURE (my eye was actually twitching on Tuesday and Wednesday, and I'm pretty sure that was stress from this...) Even when I finally found a pair of hands that were facing the correct way and everything I did have to adjust the angle of Green's arm a bit..... I'm also aware that Red's arm might appear too short, but beyond what I already tried to do to add foreshortening I'm at a complete loss for what to do because I tried bringing his whole body down a bit to make him short and lengthen the arm and even that still didn't look right, but even looking at my raw base here, the man's arm seems a bit short, so... like I said: I'm at a loss. I might try to play with it some more later, but for now I think I need to give it a break
I also initially wanted to add in Red's Venusaur and Blue Blastoise and Wigglytuff, but I ran out of time. (At least I Was able to squeeze in Pika at the last minute, and OF COURSE I had to give him a bowtie
) Since I might still try to play with Red a bit, though, I may as well add them in too while I'm at that and possibly extend the frame a bit since I can. I might try to play Red and Green's expressions a bit, too. I used the art of Red from the Sun/Moon games to help me with how to adjust the features to age them up a bit, but again, I ran out of time before I could adjust Red's neutral expression from the game beyond flipping his pout so they're at least smiling a bit.
