Well, HERE'S a combination I didn't think I'd be seeing anytime soon. A lot of people were gushing over the alternate/"goth" Marinette and Shadybug when it came to this special, but I'm surprised that this and Celesticat were not hinted at or spoiled for me in the LEAST prior to the special airing. It's pretty refreshing, actually! In regards to the design, though, the "wing" ribbons are quite the coincidence since it actually looks like something I saw in a fan comic YEARS ago...(unless early designs for this stuff were just leaked that long ago?)

As for the sketch, this one needed a bit of saving again.... I had to touch up the anatomy a bit digitally prior to cleaning. The "wing" pattern on the torso had to be traced in because I wasn't happy with my attempt as well as the Butterfly Miraculous and the cane across her back for the sake of detail while the face and hair were fixed up using some of my previous works.

Miraculous: tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir and all of its characters, including Marinette, are (c) Thomas Astruc, Zagtoon, Toei Animation, and any and all other respective owners may have missed/not be aware of. I do not own the character in any way, shape or form, I am just a fan!
