''Golduck, You're The Best!''

More classic Pokemon nostalgia thanks to Pluto. Am I the only one who was SUPER mad when this evolution turned out to be a giant middle finger to the audience? Misty really deserved the boost considering she had to leave Starmie (her strongest and only evolved Pokemon at the time) and Horsea at the Cerulean Gym after "The Misty Mermaid" and the writers wouldn't even let her CATCH another Pokémon until Poliwag, which didn't evolve until Johto. Not to mention, it would have been a good thing for Psyduck too if it suffered constant headaches from its budding Psychic potential and this new form allowed it to finally control it's power. I saw some people defending Psyduck when this episode came up in a discussion on Facebook saying that its status was as comic relief, but I feel like this new suave personality had some comedic merit to it, too: It could have been a "rival" to Brock in trying to impress girls and the two of them would have the same dynamic as Meowth and Wobbuffet early on, but it would always ultimately come back to Misty and defend her when needed.

Ranting aside, the sketch didn't need any major changes or fixes, just some polishing using previous drawings to make things consistent.

Pokemon and all of its creatures/characters, including Misty/Kasumi and Golduck belong to Satoshi Tajiri, Nintendo, Game Freak, ViZ and any/all other respective owners. I do not own the characters in any way, shape or form, I am just a fan!
