Gajeel's Happy Future

I've had this one under my hat for a while since witnessing Gajeel's near death at the hands of Bloodman. To be honest, I was a bit skeptical of this pairing at first but it really grew on me as the feelings became less one-sided and more genuine. File this one under "unexpectedly cute", I guess.

As for the sketch.... this one needed a LOT more saving than I had foreseen or intended, and it's mostly due to the dark colors on Gajeel.... his entire face had to be remapped, along with part of his right sleeve and the entirety of the collar of his shirt because I wasn't happy with how some of the wrinkles turned out. The entirety of the left sleeve and the wristband was traced in for pretty much the same reason and a tiny bit of Gajee'ls hair due to cropping. Levy was a bit more forgiving, though I did still have to remap her eyes and a tiny bit of her hair had to be traced in where it overlaps with Gajee'ls shirt  because of the colors partially blending together. Her hand was also traced in because I wasn't happy with my attempt as well as her hair band as an afterthought when I decided I liked a slightly wider frame.
