Cardcaptor Sakura Button Samples [WiP]

I'm getting ready for potentially trying to run an Artists Alley table with my friend as a Con this fall. I personally won't be selling full prints, but more trinkety things (buttons/badges, keychains, lanyards, etc.)

Oh my gosh the new system for uploading Deviations is HIDEOUS.... I had seen people talking about it last week, but I guess the "update" (more like buggy downgrade...) hadn't reached me then because things seemed normal for me last weekend.... thank goodness things still seems normal if you submit through  Sta.sh...

Anyway, figuring out what I wanted to do for Cardcaptor Sakura was a little tricky because, like with Shugo Chara, I figured that they keys had already been done multiple times and  in official merchandise. The battle costumes are the obvious other highlight of the series, but how to feature them and how to narrow the selection down? As I continued to think it over, one of the opening songs popped into my head and that's when it came together: Showcase the opening songs.

Unfortunately... I still have to play around a bit with the text and the backgrounds (and possibly the quote for the "Rocket Beat" one...), and I'm REALLY wishing I had had the foresight to save this in layers like the others, but I can rebuild.... I'm also considering adding the end songs from the two movies because I'm really, REALLY partial to "Ashita e no Melody" and the battle costume from the second movie.

The good news in all of this, however, is that I now have the framework for making chibis of various other characters for other things, so stay tuned...
