This building is an intrusion into the urban fabric of Vienna's historic centre, a dissonance, stressing difference from its surroundings. It is grotesquely misplaced, it should have been built at the outskirts. Read Steven Semes' impressive study "The Future of the Past" about preservation of historic city scapes, and the reasons why this building is at the wrong place, will become clear.
