Funny. I got my drawing inspiration back. How? Really easily in the end even if it took some time to really realise how. Or why. Usually I have a bit of problem with finishing my works since I lose my inspiration in the middle of it. Even if it happens only when drawing, not when writing. I noticed that it's usually happens because I have way too high expectations and way too little patience. And I usually have whole story for one picture in my head and I want to make it into comic and that leads us back to that way too little patience. That all leads to many unfinished pieces of drawings that are old and I don't like them anymore. More often than not those end up being deleted.
Now I decided to give you a piece of story with a drawing and focus on getting one drawing finished with a story before moving to next one. Result? I have two finished drawings and one unfinished and at least one in my mind ready to be drawn. I also decided to get out of my comfort zone in my drawings and draw a background into every picture no matter how terrible I think it is. There is no giving up with that one. Also I took time to make character sheets to my characters before drawing them.
And usually I have more inspiration with writing, but I don't really like to write. At least not when I have to translate my Finnish into English and I really don't like my English when I'm writing it from the start. But this is also good way to get all those stories out of my head and into the paper and it usually gets me to draw something. So it's kind of like win-win situation, isn't it?
