Hard to believe this webcomic is ten years old, and that it's been five years since I was really active in Laby fandom.  Looks like I've got a lot to catch up on!

Hey, I just want to say that when I first found this I was really struggling with depression and anxiety. I didn't enjoy things that I used to, even when I did try to have fun there was always a deep, sad ache for really no reason whatsoever. For a while this comic was one of the few things that helped me feel better, made me forget that I felt sad.
So, thank you for creating this, a comic where real life and politics don't matter. Thank you.

In my last year of high school (5? 6 years ago?) there was an optional class and if you signed up for it then that semester you'd get a tablet for class study.
I don't think I'm boggling anybody's mind here, but nobody used it for class study.
So everybody was downloading apps or whatever they were doing with theirs, and all I would do was download pictures and comics I really liked and literally ALL of my memories about that class is just looking through Labyrinth fan-art and GND.
Like, that was IT.

I've actually got pretty serious episodic memory problems, but with something to attach memories to I'm able to bring them back more easily. It's really great having something like this that's not only lasted, but also kept going and even improving for as long as it has. It really helps me remember, when not a lot of things do.

Thanks for helping me survive (and remember) high school! <3

(guh, devart's new infinite scrolling of galleries instead of page breaks makes it hellish to get down to comments.....)
Dudette. :) That's pretty cool. I mean, not the memory hiccup issues but.... well, I'm glad this has been a happy place for people almost as long as it's been mine.

Pika, THANK YOU SO MUCH for doing this comic. You are the best of humanity and the best of fandom.

I know it may seem that I was summoned by the recent Dresden prominence (and I'll grand that it may have been what tipped my scales, so to speak).... but the fact is that the charm of this comic has had me coming back for several years. It's like a black hole every time I come and look. I blame your masterful sense of comedic timing and sublime understanding of these characters that you've embraced. Each of them has been done in a pitch perfect tone to the point that even their voices are obvious in reading despite the fact that I had literally no points of reference for some of them on first reading.

Even if you wrap up with these characters, I deeply hope that you continue with this style of storytelling that you've developed. It's beautiful, and it adds to the world.

I've been re-reading the last arc in response to the latest update, and it's reminded me how much I love this series! I'm so glad you've kept it going.

I started to translate (just for me, just for fan) the all comic to my language (hungarian). It's so funny and helps me to practice the english. I very like your work! I love the movie Labyrinth and like the fan's fantasy of Sarah+Jareth. That was the way how I found your page here! I hang on your drawings! :)

Love this comic (Girls Next Door). I had no idea that my favorite characters could co exist so seamlessly.
Thank you so much.
