(AKA 'The Many Angryfaces of Christine' AKA 'The Not Very Funny One With A Sh*tload of Text Where GND Comes Down Off The Shipping Fence And Some Phans Are Upset' AKA 'GDIAF, LND'.)

WARNING HOPEFULLY IN TIME BEFORE YOU ENLARGE: This page contains bad language, EC, RC, (...ES?), references to sex and contraception, sequel spoilers, and author rant.

(And was kinda tough to write out and bear with me 'til more is said and done next week, ok?)

The thing is, we have only ever seen Veritaserum in action when added to tea or pumpkin juice. Luna can now take the interesting note that when ingested with coffee, side effects may include irritability, mood swings, foul language and extreme media-awareness.

Also, never underestimate Christine.

(And text alternates handwriting and ownfont to spare your eyes and my wrist.)

This is a work of fanart and solely intended for shits and giggles. Not mine, not making money from it.

Sarah (c) Lucas, Froud, Henson; Connelly and Bowie
Erik & Christine (c) Leroux and Webber
"Veritaserum" (c) JKRowling and WB

Based on the original Roommates comic by *AsheRhyder

"how apparently we both feature in his sexual fantasies now"

Okay, that was just needlessly cruel of Christine to both Sarah AND Erik. Also, she WAITED until Sarah was drinking before she said that.

payback, kinda....

In my opinion, this is one of the best rants of the entire GND series.

Crisnine's faces are almost as great as that nuclear-grade spit take.

Oh what a joke to play as soon as the truth serum ran out. XD

It's so meta how a sequel can be a cause for drama :D

last two frames tho :b aaahhh payback is sweet huh Chris?

I have seen Doctor who fanfics written solely to keep that horrific sequel from ever happening.

It's horrid and garbage and character assassinates more than just principal cast.

1.) I hope the sequel NEVER HAPPENS in you AWESOME comic.

2.) Evalina & eric would make a cute couple

3.) I hope Christine was lying about BOTH of them being in Eric's sexual fantasies. Otherwise Jareth might just give Eric the same treatment as Sequel Raoul *shudder*

Aaaah, multishipping all three (ES, EC, JS) simultaneously is a roller coaster of feels

Awww, what a fitting round-up for that relationship! I can...actually get what Christine is saying here. It's not a logical action, it's a romantic one. That was always my feeling, too, that Erik was willing to kill for Christine but Raoul was willing to die for her, and one choice is ultimately selfish while the other is selfless. So...if they could be friends, even if it's messy, I think that could be a beautiful thing.

.........but Jareth and Sarah need to hit the sack, like, immédiatement

I love both ES and JS respectively.

Erik, you terrible, brilliant, wretched creature (whose book I am reading right now)... some genuine progress, re-shaping even? This is why I love the Building-verse: they go through hell for it, but they figure things out. And at that point, they deserve what good they get out of it.

BOTH OF THEM? Oh my god...really?
Besides that, I really understand your opinion of LND, but do you really think it was that bad? I rather (and now please DON'T hate me) liked it....

Ah, sweet, sweet, anti-LND ranting...I could read it all day.

I'd like to think that Erik, once the "sweet, I get to knock boots with Christine!" rush had worn off, would realize that destroying the happiness he ultimately wished for her and watching her die (and knowing it was all HIS fault for not leaving well enough alone in the first place) would be much too high a price to pay for the privilege. To say nothing of the whole "Beauty Underneath" nonsense...leave the prancing around to 80s rock with small children to his glittery roommate, thankyouverymuch.

i have to agree with your assessment of LND. such a STUPID plotline, with a horrid ending! (though i have to admit i like some of the music/songs for it, for which i am ashamed)

Question: since we're on the subject of BAD sequels, did you ever see the mangled mess made of Labyrinth in a "sequel" manga series called "Return to Labyrinth"? if not, i recommend it ONLY for cannon fodder for this comic series. XD

Jareth knows of the sequel and is exerting some magical trickery to stop it from becoming better-known and 'real'.

 probably a very wise course of action XD
