FLUUUUUUUUUFF. They're dating. Imma indulge.

Needy lil' owl you got yourself there, Sarah.

(*cough* hey Laby fandom, it would be really terrible and disrespectful if that shot of upside-down smirking Jareth happened to get... repurposed... in any sort of edits. I couldn't possibly approve, nor be making any suggestions whatsoever. *cough* *cough* *cough*)

"And I was going to watch you anyway, by crystal or through the window (...)"
:stare:

Edward Creep Cullen seal of approval. :disbelief:
Thank goodness Sarah got some bs-tolerant cray-cray in her attraction towards you.

"You got some creepy in your romantic there." LMAO, sounds about 100% Jareth. Also, I'm getting a big kick out of Jareth being so affected by the coffee, ehehe!

It looks like you may have misspelled De'Chagny and in the last panel it says, "You got a lot of sarky in your romantic there, love." Did you mean "snarky" or is sarky a word I haven't heard before?

On another note, I found this highly amusing.

First misspelling is a Jarethism, his canon habit of mangling names as a show of disrespect/carelessness.
"sarky" is a britishism. ;) (everyone seems to be autocomplete-correcting in their mind to the more familiar "snarky" but it is a deliberate choice of word here).

Ah, okey dokey. I don't know how I've never noticed Jareth deliberately messing up names. Perhaps I need to go back to the beginning and read everything again.

Hmm, I forget to play it up much in-comic, but in the movie he is especially aggravating of Hoggle that way.

Living with a super light walker, stealth by accident startles are a real thing. My husband does this all the time to me. Or maybe I just zone out hardcore...eh.

Just a wonder if Dechanvy's coffee just so happened to be espressos? I can just imagine Jareth wired up on caffeine.

Yep. For French cafés, and the kind of capsule-dose machine Raoul has here that are quite widespread, default "un café" is a strong expresso.
(you need to ask for "un américain" ou "café allongé" if you want anything like a filter-brew, and that generally means they'll just add hot water to the expresso shot.)

Ok so now the question that comes to mind is "Is it in Raoul's character to un americain Jareth's expresso or have him suffer a restless night?"

I'd say there's an inncocent cultural misunderstanding went on there, as Raoul handed him (or frankly, has taken from his hands, really....) what his machine would naturally spit out, ie., a strong little expresso. Probably completely forgetting how most US-based peeps take it (and, if he's anything like a lot of French people I know, absolutely incomprehending and mildly aghast at what passes for coffee statesside - weaker, served-in-mug-quantities brew coffee is frequently called "sock juice"). Also, it was morning in Paris.....
At least, it can certainly pass for innocent.

Sarah could  100% get out of trouble for going to Paris with Christine if she mentioned French lingerie. Just sayin.

Pretty certain Jareth wouldn't mind holding her purse and coming with to shop tryouts for that kind of purchase.

Been meaning to ask ... has Jareth, like ... been in a relationship before?

His knowledge of partnership seems to hit a brick wall at the bedroom.

To-be-confirmed for GND """canon""" - Jareth has indeed been, as the French put it, déniaisé - in both sense of the word. Calling it a relationship might be a bit of a stretch.

I love your dialogue in this one.  "you got a little creepy in your romantic there" and "you got a little snarky in your romantic there".  That really seems to sum up these characters very.
