ESPAÑOL:
2017 ha sido un año que no quiero recordar, pero que será imposible de olvidar. Quizás para el siguiente. Al menos he acabado el dibujo de Laika Zhang del que os hablé hace un año.
Os deseo un feliz año nuevo a todo el mundo.

Un año difícil lleno de malas noticias es una buena razón para querer dejar 2016 y dar la bienvenida a 2017.
Por la vía artística, sólo he subido un dibujo por aquí por DeviantArt, pero he conseguido superar el Inktober challenge (un dibujo de tinta por cada día de octubre) publicado diariamente en mi cuenta de Twitter. He pintado con pincel dos camisetas, una con los logos de la escudería AG-5Y5 de los videojuegos de WipEout, y la otra del logo japonés de la MegaDrive. Ahora estoy trabajando en un nuevo dibujo de mi OC Laika Zhang y estoy aprendiendo Z-Brush para esculpir bocetos en 3D.
Os deseo un feliz año a todo el mundo.

A very difficult year full of bad news it's a good reason to want to leave 2016 and welcome 2017.
In an artistic way, I submit only one artwork here in DeviantArt, but I could beat the Inktober challenge (one ink drawing every October day) posted it daily on my Twitter account. I've painted by brush two t-shirts, one with AG-5Y5 racing team logos from WipEout videogames and the other one with a MegaDrive (aka Genesis) Japanese logo. Now I'm working on a new drawing of my OC Laika Zhang and I'm learning Z-Brush to sculpt sketches in 3D.
I wish you a happy new year for all of you.

2015 ha sido un año inolvidable para mí, desde el primer día hasta el último. He hecho un montón de cosas y conocido a un montón de buena gente. Ya tengo trabajo. Y, como siempre, tengo un montón de proyectos pendientes que espero empezar (¡y acabar!). Me siento más vivo que nunca.
Por la vía artística, sólo he subido un dibujo por aquí por DeviantArt, pero he conseguido superar el Inktober challenge (un dibujo de tinta por cada día de octubre) publicado diariamente en mi cuenta de Twitter. Sí, no he podido empezar mi manga Alive/Alone (aún en proyecto). He tenido mucho menos tiempo libre por mi trabajo. Pero pude dibujar un perfil del personaje principal, Laika Zhang, subido a mi cuenta de Instagram. También he participado en el II Concurso Kyriade de fanarts basados en el magnífico cómic original de IreneRoga que os recomiendo a todos. Creo que estoy mejorando mis habilidades con la tableta gráfica, pero aún no es suficiente.
Como siempre, quiero desearos un feliz año nuevo. Os envío a todos un beso y un abrazo.

2015 was an unforgettable year for me, from the very first day to the last one. I have done a lot of things and meet a lot of new good people. Now I have a job. And, as always, have a lot of pending projects I wish to start (and finish!). I'm feeling more alive than never before.
In an artistic way, I submit only one artwork here in DeviantArt, but I could beat the Inktober challenge (one ink drawing every October day) posted it daily on my Twitter account. Yes, I couldn't start my manga Alive/Alone (still in project). I have a lot of less free time because of my job. But I could draw a profile image of the main character, Laika Zhang, posted on my Instagram account. I could take part on the II Kyriade Contest too, about fanarts based on the amazing original comic by IreneRoga I recommend to everyone of you. I think I'm improving my skills using the pentablet, but not enough yet.
As always, I want to wish you a happy new year. I send you all a kiss and a hug.

How long have you been on DeviantArt?
Since November 16th, 2006. It's almost nine years.
What does your username mean?
Needs a large explanation. My friends in the Real World™ used to call me Ryôga. Ryôga Hibiki is a character in Rumiko Takahashi's Ranma ½. People started to call me Ryôga because of my awful sense of orientation (I'm usually lost in thought). OK. This character change into a little black pig when he touches cold water. So we got the Pig. The Saint comes from Masami Kurumada's Saint Seiya. In the Japanese original story, Seiya is the Pegasus Saint, Hyôga is the Cygnus Saint, Shiryû is the Dragon Saint... so I am the PigSaint. Hahahahaha.

Are you left or right handed?
Right handed. Curiously, I know a lot of left handed people.
What was your first deviation?
My first deviation was a drawing named Eden. It was the very first drawing I colored using computer software exclusively (with a mouse). It makes me blush, of course, but I keep a good memory about it and have a lot of meaning for me.
What is your favourite type of art to create?
My favourite need in life is to draw, especially women and scifi/fantasy creatures. I love to make details.
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
A powerful seinen inked traced manga style. Like Hiroaki Samura, Takehiko Inoue, Kenji Tsuruta or Akihiro Yamada, among others.
What was your first favourite?
It was a poster for a convention made by SoniaMatas. She won the contest, defeating me. IIANF poster contest WINNER
What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
I'm really proud of my whole fav gallery. I usually add original drawings to my favourites. I like female model photography and fanart drawings too. My weak point? Mermaids. I deeply love mermaids. And almost all my favourite artists in DeviantArt have their own mermaid deviations.
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
This question is really hard for me. From the most famous, Artgerm is my favourite. But I'm fan of a lot more. Zeronis, fdasuarez, masateru, IreneRoga, shichigoro756, SoniaMatas, Kuvshinov-Ilya, InstantIP, and more. Just take a look at my fav gallery. I love every deviation I added there.
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?

How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
I used to think I am a strange person. Here in DeviantArt I noticed there is a lot of strange people in the world. Maybe I'm not as strange as I thought, after all. Hahahaha.
What are your preferred tools to create art?
Now I use a Wacom Intuos Pen&Touch M (but I'd like to have the Pro version). I usually do the lineart using Clip Studio Paint (aka Manga Studio) and I do the coloring using Adobe Photoshop.
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
I usually create art in my mind when I go out for some running. Or walking large distances (I usually go walking everywhere if I can). There's no special place for inspiration to me. Some muses, some moments, some artworks. But not places.
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
The main reason I'm here today. As I said in the first question, I joined DeviantArt in 2006. But I usually didn't watch or fav anything. I even forget I had and account here. In 2010 I knew SoniaMatas in a contest (digitally). We take part in other poster contests (she always won... hahahaha). She encouraged me to come back to DeviantArt. Even gifted me premium membership months. I check my account almost every day since that moment. I deeply thank her for this.

Se acerca 2015.
2014 fue un año lleno de proyectos y sueños. 2015 será el año en que esos proyectos terminen y esos sueños se empiecen a hacer realidad.
Ya tengo una tableta gráfica para dibujar, y he aprendido un montón de cosas. Me siento más... seguro de mí mismo. Estoy trabajando duro porque quiero dibujar mi primer manga original, Alive/Alone. Estoy planeándolo, haciendo diseños, bocetos, historia y por supuesto documentándome (va a ser sci-fi). Tengo muchos miedos, pero necesito intentarlo. Ojalá me deis el apoyo que me dais siempre. Lo voy a necesitar.
Además, quiero hacer un viaje turista a Japón. Siempre he querido visitar ese país y ahora creo que será posible.
Os deseo un feliz año nuevo. ¡¡Como siempre, deseo que 2015 sea el mejor año de vuestras vidas!!

2014 was a year full of projects and dreams. 2015 will be a year for finish these projects and begin to make these dreams come true.
Now I have a pen tablet for draw, and I've learnt a lot of things. I'm feeling more... reliable in myself. I'm working hard because I want to draw my first original manga, Alive/Alone. I'm planning, making designs, sketchs, story and of course documenting (it will be sci-fi). I have a lot of fears, but I need to try. I wish your support as always you've given me. I will need it.
In addition, I want to take a trip to Japan as a tourist. I always wanted to visit this country and now I think it will be possible.
