Hnnnnnggggggggggg I wouldnt have done it since I have other things I need to work on but these characters have been floating in my gray matter for WEEKS. WEEKS I TELL YOU. So. I'm breaking down and finally going to participate in with my own group here!

TEAM SLAGSHOT!

Name: Gin

Species: Pansear.

Gin is a fairly no-nonsense pokemon, not afraid to judge someone else's action as right, wrong, or otherwise. A very protective individual as well, especially concerning Cobalt or his younger siblings. He's rather stubborn at times too when it comes to keeping on track and focused on whatever he's got to be doing, and he tends to be a bit of a buzzkill when it comes to spontaneous fun (to the point where it sometimes seems like he actually hates fun).

Born in Windswept Woods into a simple family. His Mother and father, both Simisear, put all of their attention into raising him and his three younger siblings. His mother was a rescuer back in the past, and told them all many stories of her escapades. While his siblings were all enthralled by the prospect of adventure and heroism, Gin thought otherwise. Uninterested by adventuring grandeur, he delegated himself babysitting duties and helped his parents keep a hold on the kids.

A few years later, the family moved to the outskirts of Alomomola City. Gin hated the city, preferring the silence of the forest, but the rest of the family was a big fan of the hustle and bustle, especially Cobalt, so he stayed quiet about it.

There they met a chimchar youth named Chezri that would grow to become a close family friend, and who's disappearance years later would prompt them to leave for Tao Village...

Name: Cobalt

Species: Beldum

Cobalt is consistently cheerful to the point of overly optimistic, always looking for a silver lining. He's rather silly, idealistic and somewhat childish. Often he doesnt think of the consequenses of his actions, but is also deeply caring about the feelings of other pokemon.

While gathering food one day, Gin's mother came across something surprising; An unconscious Beldum! She took it home, and ever since then Gin has considered Cobalt one of his siblings. Theres nothing he (it technically but he generally answers to he) could tell you about before he was taken in by the family full of flaming monkeys, but he's definitely not one to shy away from telling you plenty of his "mother's" stories of rescuer adventures. Having lived around fire types for as long as he can remember, he's a tad more comfortable around flames than the casual steel type.

Him and his brother grew into a tight friendship with a local chimchar, Chezri, even though Cobalt would frequently be the butt of many of the chimchar's jokes and pranks. So, naturally, his disappearance would cause an un-ignorable amount of concern...
