Hi, i am PhxDragon but just call me Double E! I mainly do fan art, photography and game development. However I am a varied hobbits as you may see in my gallery. You may or may not notice my art is not focused on visual appeal but topics in a sense. I am also a novice when it comes to digital art.
Currently I am pursuing both my passion of anime with photography and will start back in art eventually when my heart gets back into it.

"Searching for My Lucky Star" by crystalmoonlight1 and ChezPhoto
First off the ballgown is just marvelously stunning. Such a fragrant deep and luxurious blue. Looks great on her. The light enlightens the smooth silky texture of the dress. Portray sing elegance and maybe innocence which aids the pose in search for her lucky star
The the image gives the feeling you are actually searching deep for Stars which is a nice touch.
I like the body shot it is just right for the topic. Not too much or too little, leaving the right sense of depth.
Interesting choice of background in reference to the title.
A great collaboration between cosplayer and photographer, i don't know the situation of where the photo was taken but know it can be hard. With all that job well done.
Finally in regards to the artist comments; I assume there are people like me who have not played the game or seen the character. The blue ribbon that is backwards works well with the dress. Maybe in accurate but realistically ribbons work both ways. So yes! it dose not matters because your cosplay is great. No one is perfect, but this good cosplay. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/c/c…" width="20" height="20" alt="" title="Clap"/>
It is a nicely written tutorial that is quick and easy to follow. Step by step pictorial instructions are used as a way to help guide a reader to learn how to retouch a figure photo(or any photo) and just not do it for you.
Important things are nicely highlighted and results are easily measurable.
Now I gave a low "Originality" score because this technique isn't new. Personally I wish i could just avoid it because its unfair for a tutorial. This is a learning experience and Nikicorny teaches what she knows well.
First off if you didn't get it; I love the sense of motion capture here. Its like the figure is walking towards you but in a dynamic way. If your into the BRS beat you can understand more.
As a black and white image this stands out too much but don't get me wrong. This is all relatively good. Its beyond the standard black and white and in between color like a chrome finish. The figure stands out in dash black and smokey white. Then there is a lovely hint of blazing blue color in the eye that says this is BRS and here she comes my friends.
"..a mysterious black haired girl with a blazing blue eye.." walks through the bleak hollow world and just shatters it with raw presence. I love the focus and it is draws you right into the action.
The background is good even if some dark spots seem out of place.I think you can see the figure stand but totally negligible. The clearness floats with the B&W. The whiteness makes the image feel open and infinite like our subjects is going walking right out of the frame.
This is not totally original but visionary four the image purposes. Overall "BRS 2035" is a noir movie like blockbuster. Ounce again a outstanding contribution to BRS. I hope many enjoy as i did.
Here we see a Black Rock Shooter Beast figma figure which is a great novelty figure. For those of you who don't know what black rock shooter is you might learn something.
"..a mysterious black haired girl with a blazing blue eye.." that is Black Rock Shooter right there. Gaze on up from bottom to top. The appealing black with a dash of blazing blue. I like this focus and it is draws you right into the center of the picture. However at the same time the contrasting blur is distracting. Due to the size of the image and close up the figure shouldn't have been blurred so much. The obscureness splits the focus but it also highlights the colors in the foreground and leaves the lost detail on the other side.
The background is good, well toned and lit. A good use of white light makes a spot light around Black Rock Shooter, our heroine. This all works in with the camera angel as Black Rock Shooter is poised looking up in the, ill leave that up to you readers. Next; I'm not sure if the "BRSB" is supposed to stick out but it would have been mire uniform image to make it blend in with the background like the signature at the top.
Its not original but visionary to the topic. Overall "Beast" is pretty elegant, simply but powerful and true to the name Black Rock Shooter. A great homage to the fandom fans will appreciate.
