I plan on coming back to doing video tutorials, too. I already got some new audio gear and hopefully that'll take care of my noise problem Won't take care of my time problem, but hey
If you have something you'd like to see me ramble on about, feel free to suggest!

Vector traced anime
It has been a pet-peeve of mine for a very long while now, and as much as I've tried ignoring the problem but it doesn't seem to be getting any better, and frankly I am very confused about dA's rules concerning the matter. As far as I can see the rules seem to be in contradiction with other rules of DeviantArt.
I am talking about Vector tracing.
I had written a journal entry regarding this matter some time ago and there was some confusion as to what I was really getting at.
I am sick and tired of searching the Deviant Art archives for certain anime titles only to receive literally hundreds of Vector drawings that are nothing more than traces of either official art, screenshots or magazine scans. I am not referring to Vector tracings of photographs, or things sketched by hand first, or collaborations where one person drew the image and another person vectorized it. I am referring specifically to vector traces of anime scree
Applying icons in Windows XPThis article will show you how to apply icons on your Windows XP system and will cover various types of icons and provide tips on changing system icons.
Icon file format (.ico)
These are the standard icons that you may experience.
The following steps will show you how to apply them:
1. Download the icons (if already downloaded skip to 2).
2. Once downloaded extract the icons (if compressed in a zip/rar file otherwise go on to step 3) using a decompression utility such as Winzip or Winrar. Extract the icons to a directory such as "Harddrive > windows > icons" or any directory you wish.
3. Next, locate the folder or shortcut who's icon you wish to change. Right click on this folder/shortcut and select "Properties" in the menu that appears.
4. Wait for the Properties dialog window to open.
If you think my watermark's a bitch . . .
What exactly is art theft?
Art theft, quite simply, is the theft of art.
I think that different people will have different interpretations of what exactly theft is based on things such as their personal morals or their own copyright policies. For example, reposting an image thats not yours on another site, but not claiming it as your own, might be viewed as art theft by some people and by others, sharing the image in an attempt to bring more attention to it.
I watermark all my images because Im trying to prevent my work from getting stolen. I understand watermarking an image with text or a logo adds the possibility of taking away from the image and preventing a viewer from fully enjoying it. And Im alright with that. But I do try to not overdo it and take too much away from the image.
I normally put my URL at the bottom of my photos in a relatively small font size. But since it would be very easy to simply crop
20 Filipino Digital Artist in deviantART "The first devices that resemble modern computers date to the mid-20th century (19401945), although the computer concept and various machines similar to computers existed earlier. Early electronic computers were the size of a large room, consuming as much power as several hundred modern personal computers."
Vectoring, air brushing, painting & drawing on an open canvass not on the paper but the computer programs called "Photoshop", "Sai", "Corel Draw" & "Illustrator" I tried drawing on Photoshop once..damn! It was hard at first until I got used to it, colored some of my deviations too..in Corel Draw and Illustrator-complicating & nerve breaking for me.
Digital art most commonly refers to art created on a computer in digital form. In an expanded sense, "digital art" is a term applied to contemporary art that uses the methods of mass production or digital media. The impact of digital technology has transformed traditional activities such as painting, drawing & sculptu
'I can't draw!' and Other Lame Excuses FThe excuses are used over and over and over. They're the "Dog Ate My Homework" of tracers.
At a glance, some of them might seem like valid arguments, but in the end, there is no excuse for art theft.
So, here are the top ten excuses for tracing- and the reasons that they don't work.
1. "I don't know how to draw."
Obviously not, or you probably wouldn't be tracing- but have you thought of learning? There are tons and tons of resources on the internet. Schools and colleges and other places offer drawing classes. You can find books in the library or bookstore or art shop about drawing. There's a wealth of information out there- this really isn't an excuse.
"But I can't learn to draw! It's too hard!" Yes, you can. How many thousands and thousands of artists are there in the world? So many people manage it. It is not easy, but it's not impossible.
2. "I changed parts of it, so it's mine."
Contrary to popular belief, there is no such thing as a "change 30%" la
