Hello..Welcome to Photos-of-Monuments !!
   We have no complicated rules: You must be a member of the group to add your photos. You can send a color photos, black and white or sepia tones. Please select the appropriate folder. You can be professional or amateur .. All are welcome. Number of your contribution is no limited. Your request and photos are automatically approved. You can contribute to all folders. I just want to draw attention to several new folders in the gallery.
Now you can contribute to these new folders:
Religious objects
Railway - Bus station
Factories - chimneys - halls..
Abandoned buildings - Brownfields
If you are still missing some folder, just write your request in the comments.
Some of the original folders were full, so all folders are new, labeled as "II" or III.
Original folders are not deleted, you can find them (and your contributions) in our gallery: photos-of-monuments.deviantart…
However contribute is possible only into new folders.
Still here is a rule:
Photos of Monuments group is focused ONLY on PHOTOGRAPHY Castles, Ruins, ancient and modern Churches, Monuments, Towns, Squares, Streets, Villages, Bridges, Lookout Towers, Gravestones and other ARCHITECTURAL attractions.
Please don't submit photos that are not related to architecture (people, animals, nature.. etc.)
Don't submit works that are not photos (drawings, 3D renderings, etc.)
These works will be removed from gallery and in case of repeated violations may be the member excluded from a group.

hey all. was wondering if you could add a folder for natural monuments. For example trees that hold some sort of attraction (ancient trees-wishing trees trees with history etc)

Was wondering if anyone had any info on the deviantART member by the name of "daxusx" (from Argentina) who was a co-founder of this group.
She apparently deleted her dA account under that name and I am kind of worried about her as I do not know if she entirely left dA or if she just moved over to a secondary account (which I knew that she had, however I don't remember the name / alias she was using).
Any further info as to her secondary dA account or whether or not she is OK would be greatly appreciated.
She always struck me as a kind person and it would be a loss here on dA if she were permanently gone.
