Critique is what you'll get.
First the lighting is interesting. Generally speaking you have a great visual of the entire subject. But the light does little to define shape or form. What it does do is give an interesting overall red tone to the image - assuming that no photo editing or camera filters were used. There is a nice warmth to the photo.
Where the warmth is given the model is not really embracing that mood.
In fact there is a lack of lines or interesting focal points in the photo and that is where it falls short. In fact I find the lighting distracting as the pattern has me fixated on her hair ( a rats nest) and then the pattern is diffused and limited to the left side of the photo.
I like photos with movement, patterns and purpose. This photo is very much of a lets shoot and see what we get.
Turning the model 3/4 turn would have given a larger surface for the light and that would have been a very interesting canvas as the model is fairly toned. Having her look down would have created an interesting use of her hair instead of the mess we see here. Taking this image into photoshop and pushing the shadows and light really leaves very little visual interest as well.
Though I enjoy the warmth of the image, it fails to convey warmth. This image falls short for me.
