Great, I'll make some tea and biscuits :D Seriously, not too hard, I have a magnolia wall, the afternoon sun was filtered through white blinds, coming from the left side. It took a few different shots (50 mm lens, f1.8), this one was the best, and then I enhanced the contrast in post processing. Sharpened the front orchids a little bit. That's it :)

It's just that I've been doing it for a long time, so it's become automatic. And really, with taking the photo, it's just trial and error, whatever works! Ok, I have some German organic lemon balm tea, I'll put the kettle on :D

Thats how I am with the window shots....I use the window a lot and outside on the table and your right, trail and error.  Oh that pot of tea sounds wonderful......until I get to taste that I will have my green tea....in the evening I drink it hot and during the day I put it on ice for ice tea

Hey Anna! Thank you so much. It's just an occasional burst of photography here and there, but I'm not giving it up. I hope you are well :)

Sorry to take time replying.  I'm okay, but have a left frozen shoulder which makes typing extremely painful and awkward.  Cortisone injection has not worked so far, but it is worse! :(

You?

So sorry to hear that :( I hope something can be done to relieve it. I have these attached to my desk www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0… One for each elbow. It's made typing and working so much more comfortable, not just for elbows and shoulders but also the neck.

I'm good. It's been windy here for a few days so had some asthma, but otherwise getting better all the time. Feeling loads better than a year or two ago. :)

Those look interesting!  I need one that will lift my arm so I can reach my mouth without all the pain at mealtimes!  Even wiping my nose has become an ordeal!!

I'm so glad your health has shown improvement since your move!

This is exactly like the thing you are describing. It was physio-approved which is why I risked it and bought one. And then the other one :D You can always try it out and return if you don't like it. Thank you my dear, it's been a long time coming

I have it bookmarked;  this problem needs sorting though, because it's too painful to play the flute too!  I have an x-ray booked for Aug 12th.  The form says "?degenerative changes"!!!! :omg:  70+ and these things start happening....

Aw, so sorry to hear that. Osteoarthritis is an age-related thing, and frozen shoulder is quite difficult to treat. Have you been to see the physio yet? Also warm water massage or swimming if you can manage can be helpful. Another thing I use, I have arthritis at the base of my left thumb (like my mum), a cream called 'Perskindol", it's all natural ingredients, no anti-inflammatopries at all, and works better than anything out there. Amazon is full of great reviews, it truly is a magical cream. If you haven't, give it a try. www.amazon.co.uk/Perskindol-Ac…
