looks like the shot from the old westerns when the cowboy would turn tail leave the town and the end of the movie, riding away into the desert. Even though its grainy and old-ified (i love making up words) you can still see the foliage in the background and everything well enough to keep life in this picture. You used the style well.

I like the shading and smoky look. I have to ask: did you start with hard lines and smudge them out or did you smudge the whole thing? Very compelling piece!
