GAP-2.6 for Gimp 2.6-Windows

EDIT 13 sept 2009

This is a NEW build, fix some issue with the GAP master Videoencoder

And should support more languages then just english

Contain also some additional library to extend auduio support (as default very limited ) to all most commune audio format

some more extra animation script

more clear and detailed instruction for install and use

(Old work..but this work better when is time to finalize the animation as video...)

This is the last release of GAP ( the Gimp Animation Package )
compiled for Windows by JamesH
Actually the installer went MIA , this contain my back up copy

Install is simple how double click on the installer, but there are some extra goodies included:

1) To start the best introductory tutorial for GAP written by Scott Bicknell (AC7ZZ) a copy of the official Doc

2)A selection from my collection of animation scripts of various authors, most hard to found because never added to the official gimp plugin registry.
Now sorted in 3 group: Animated FX, Animated Logos and
Utils (some of this Utils are very useful when working with many layers)
Scripts are from Fenceposte, Saulgoode, LIMN, Gadget Wizard AKA Scott Mosteller ,Insanity Prevail

3) a plugin to create animated cursor

Good work but wont let me download

Tried with flv, mp4, m4v, avi but always get Execution error for procedure 'gimp-file-load':

Unknown file type. Players recognize each type and play it. Using GIMP 2.10 in Windows 10.

I'm not getting the Morph selection in the Video menu. Is everybody else having this issue?

Thank you so much!

Hi, may I ask does anybody here also not having the "image to frame" option appear on their Video tab in GIMP 2.10.18? Appreciate any help. TIA!

does anyone know a way to fix an error im getting using this program with gimp? i keep receiving "Calling error for procedure 'gimp-drawable-has-alpha':
Procedure 'gimp-drawable-has-alpha' has been called with an invalid ID for argument 'drawable'. Most likely a plug-in is trying to work on a layer that doesn't exist any longer." but i know i'm doing everything else correctly?

Anyone knows if it works with Gimp 2.10? I'm trying to use it but it won't split the videos to frames. Help please
While it still works, many of the indicators have disappeared in the split videos into frames ui, mainly the checkboxes and arrows which is a pain in the ass. I recommend using GIMP 2.8 first to get used to the UI before moving to GIMP 2.10
as updates for GAP aren't coming anything soon, or, in the worst case, ever.
Json1224 you can see the indicators if you change the theme to "system"  go to : edit>preference>theme  and make the change there.

Thank you, I knew it had something to do with the theme.

do you need this to make an animation, or does it just like.. help with it, but you can still make an animation without it? ^^;
I'm 6 months late but better late than never rite?
GAP is not compulsory for GIMP to make .gif animations, however it does help. For my purpose, I use it to turn .mp4 into frames then export to .gif as I'm lazy and can't draw

Is there an actual version for this magnificient piece of software GIMP-GAP? That would be marvelous. And even more spectacular if there was a Windows version of it.
