I dig the title.

Such a beautiful colour for something so ugly. Ain't that strange.

vivid, and yes a common thing that happens everywhere. Pollution! They destroy our wildlife, or water, and most of al the beauty that surrounds this planet. Its a shame. the vibrant green in this is awesome, i love it. Nice subject and composition. the green looks like a putting green on a golf course..:D Nice job,

Looks like the bottles should be floating on pond scum, but it actually looks like a gritted concrete (or something) floor painted that colour :ohmygod: ewwww!
Great photo and it really highlights problems with the councils colour fashion and the population in general littering problem.

It brought to my mind a title as "beauty of a garbage"... Nice green, bad habbit...:(

Love the perspective... too bad the subject is that, and not a beautiful swan instead - but that's the way life is going, unfortunately, and wake up calls like this one are really needed!

Actually, there was a family of ducks there, right in the middle of the canal. The father was sitting in the nest, ducklings swimming nearby, and the mother was bringing food etc. but unfortunately they were too far away for me to get a nice shot, even with my 300mm zoom lense.

Thanks for commenting Pedro.
