In the shadows of Whyville, the Why-Me's would sneer,

At the Gwench, who they labeled the Queen of no Cheer.

Her stockings were crooked, her nose had a bend,

And her holiday spirit? Not a thing to defend!

They'd snicker and gossip, call her a disgrace,

While tossing old fruitcakes right into her face.

Their neglect left her bitter, their jeers made her mean,

Till she vowed to ruin their Christmassy scene!

"Those Why-Me's think they're clever, all wrapped up in their mirth,

But I'll show them the real gift of my Gwenchy worth!"
