Lion King Musa: page 8

Scene 1:
Late one afternoon, Kiara and Musa were on their way to Pride Rock after Zazu had told them that Simba needed to talk to them about something important.
"What do you think my dad wants to talk to us about?" Kiara asked.
"I don't know. Have you done anything that might have upset him lately?" Musa smirked. Kiara glared at him. "Of course not.... at least..not lately..?" She said. Musa laughed.

Scene 2:
Once they arrived they saw Simba and Nala sitting at the tip of Pride Rock with Tama and Zazu beside.
"Mom? Dad? What is this about?" Kiara asked.
Simba cleared his throat. "Kiara, as future Queen, you know you would need help running a kingdom. You would need a King. And a few years ago, we decided to betrothed you and Musa together as mates...and as King and Queen of the Pride Lands."
Kiara and Musa's eyes widened as they turned to each other. Kiara blushed as Musa smiled at her.
"I'm guessing you too are happy?" Simba smirked. Kiara smiled as she nuzzled Musa under his chin. Though she didn't have romantic feelings towards him, Kiara couldn't wait to share her life with her best friend beside her.
"Great, now to tell the Pride the good news." The King said.
