Hello, square lovers
Today, we're launching a new SixbySix feature - a (hopefully) monthly news article aimed to put,in a nutshell, some of our favorite featured images from the club, a number of favorites from our journals, and last, but not least, an interview with one of the deviants who collaborates with us.
As you know, the 3 of us :icontom-ripley:, :iconmamazmeilor: and:iconslpdomain: are engaged in rather different photographic styles, which has made the club activity all the more interesting along the way; this is why we decided to use this fact to everyone's benefit - so here's our first set of suggestions for you. We decided to add a short motivation to sustain the chosen images.

I like the effect on this portrait, which brings an uneasy feeling, and can be easily seen as a representation of the whirl of life

As you have noticed, there is nothing much going on here around lately. I'm a bit neglecting dA, although I didn't stay still as an artist.
I did a lot of traveling around Europe in the last year, I saw many great places, gazed at wonders of nature, met really great people and wished I could have stayed longer. At least I took photos and the memories with me ^^
When I'm ready with all of it, I will share these with you in the near future, so please be a bit more patient.
On the way, I changed my main focus in photography from UrbEx and HDR to portrait, architecture and landscape.
I discovered some new neat techniques and a less destructive way for processing my work with almost the same and in my eyes a better result.
As you also may have noticed, I changed my dA-username from unkreatives to phoelixDE.
(I really would have preferred phoelix, but the name was already taken by an inactive account -.-, so I have to stick with the second best solution)
The change of name is a part of a large project I prepared over the last two years resulting in me starting my freelance business. If you are interested and like to stop by, go for it and pay me a visit on my fb- or gplus-pages
I will post updates of my work on a more regular basis there. It's not just arty stuff, I'm also going more into graphics and design, since it is my main working playground in the future xD
dA was and still is my way of sharing my artwork with you, so I'll try to be more active in the near future and I hope you will be still with me and enjoy it!
