Excellent news about Vue, it's great when you finally start to get to where you want to be with a program.
Gosh, lucky you - living close to New York but far enough away to still enjoy some nature. We went to New York a few years back, I loved it - so much to see and so much character... and so many characters! We were there almost a week and didn't see a quarter of what we would have liked - much like London - it's impossible to fit it all in in such a short time.
I almost suspect I may have had covid by now and not known, well, I sort of hope so because at this rate we wont get vaccinated until late Summer...
Apart from a few months last year at the start, I have been splitting the working week between the office and home. It's a good balance -but it's not exactly 'shielding'. We're careful with masks and keeping distance, but I cannot believe that none of my colleagues have had it at some point - but on paper none of us have and no-one has really had any symptoms.
Ah thanks; I wanted do create a goofy sense of happiness with the picture. I was going to call it Corn Dolly - but it seemed too cheesy even by my standards.
Vue can be a tricky one, I haven't used it for years, but had similar issues to you - great for landscapes - not so good when you add figures for close ups. I used to add the landscapes in the background of Poser created scenes for a happy medium.
It's excellent that you have been vaccinated - vaccinations are a long time off for us - the Netherlands has been really slow at rolling them out. My husband's father is 73 and only recently got scheduled for his. I don't expect I will get one until late summer; I reckon we will be stuck on home turf for this year as well. At least we live in the countryside :)
