Wow. You did Drury justice. I love his helmet, wings, gloves, simple-but-effective belt (Are those smoke grenades?), and gun.

I wrote a rant about this guy a few years ago when Arkham Knight came out and there was still no mention of Killer Moth, even in the DLC. This is exactly what I pictured when I thought of the character! I’m gonna post it here just to add to the conversation:

“I see the character of Killer Moth as something of a blank canvas, the developers could do just about anything with the character and it would almost certainly be a welcome improvement on the sort of treatment he's been getting over the past few decades. Personally, I want to do away with the whole "joke character" aspect of killer moth and make him less of a batman rip-off and more of a viable threat for the batman family. For instance, in his original debut he was essentially a mirror of batman that fought the police to assist criminals. So, why not have him be the organizer of a mercenary group who rents out their services to the highest bidder to conduct crimes and fight off the forces of law and order? Also, these mercenarys should have weaponry at their disposal that's nothing like what standard militia or criminal forces would have. This brings me to my next point, killer moth's tools should consist of slightly more advanced technology that were inspired by batman's own gadgetry. One example of this should be Firefly's jetpack, which actually enables the user to fly rather than glide like batman. I don't know about you but Garfield Lynns (Firefly) didn't exactly seem smart enough to construct an actually working version of a jetpack, therefore someone else (ergo killer moth) must've created it. Similarly, the electrocutioner seemed like a complete idiot, so it wouldn't be too hard to imagine that killer mothe gave him the electrical gloves in order to field test them. Also, the cacoon gun should be more than just a glorified freeze grenade, it should actively harm the people it's used on. For example, instead of dispensing silky moth juice, it should instead encase victims entirely over a slow period of time (about 20 seconds) while also releasing enzymes inside the cocoon to slowly devour the encased victim, all the while providing a slow and painful death, thus giveing a much harsher edge to the character. This would be a weapon any killer would love since it obviously proves fatal and would leave now evidence behind. His suit should be based on the designs of the batsuit, but much more heavily armored and with tech that allows the user a greater degree of strength, speed and stamina. Keep in mind, killer moth never went to travel the world and train like batman did, so his suit would have to pick up a substantial amount of slack if he hopes to actually go toe to toe with the caped crusader. His suit should also display his original colors in a way that doesn't make him look ridiculous. I'm not saying he should be dressed in bright purple with orange and green stripped pants, huge orange butterfly wings, and antennas on top. Instead he should take on a more militaristic approach, with slightly more color than the standard browns, greys and blacks that too many villain redesigns utilize. Remember, he rents out his services to people who wish to create crimes so he should be dressed in something that draws attention (and gunfire) away from his clients. He should have a much more advanced, efficient, more compact version of the jetpack that Firefly wears (similar to the Batman Beyond jetpack but with an ability to ascend), he should wear armor that has an urban camoflouge color palette, and his helmet should be similar to the one in the recent Ant-Man movie but with a covered mouth design similar to a bauta mask mixed with a modern gasmask. Overall, Killer Moth should be intimidating with an appearance similar to a military juggernaut with a smaller and more versatile design. Essentially, killer moth should confuse what makes batman who he is. As a character, he should look at the bat and acknowledge that his suit and gadgets are what give him the edge and not thw motivation and training of the man underneath. In killer moth’s mind, the suit should make the man, not the other way around. In a way, batman would still be who he is regardless of his equipment, whereas the equipment is what makes moth who he is. This brings me to my next point, give killer moth multiple identities. If you need a primary identity, he could be Cameron van Cleer, a wealthy industrialist who made his fortune through the inovations he makes in weapons tech and arms dealing (and maybe received funding from gotham’s underground, I don’t know that could prove useful for story reasons). Make it seem as though this personality is wholly innocent of killer moth's crimes so that he has a reason to always escape prosecution and continiually attack batman (by going after batman again and again, sure he’ll fail and seem like he’s an ill-equipped fool, but with every interaction he learns more and more that brings him closer to taking the bat down). Another personality should be Drury Walker, the very secretive and unknown leader of the killer moth mercenary group. Drury Walker should be more of an alias than anything, in fact the group should have multiple false Drury Walkers in order to keep the Cameron Van Cleer personality as far from the gang as possible. This would also mean that Killer Moth could be more of a title, with the suit or suits being passed to the most important members. If there has to be some sort of “moth prime” then give the true killer moth the most advanced version of the suit, while all the other false killer moths have prototypes. Also, Firefly should be connected to killer moth in a manner similar to the dynamic duo. Firefly and Killer Moth have alway been depicted as having a good relationship in the comics and have been prone to team up from time to time; this aspect should carry over into the game. Lastly, give a reason why he hasn't appeared in-person in any of the Arkham games without going to deep into his backstory. Honestly it really matters what brought him to become killer moth, but I think that the best idea would be to let the developers decide on what his personality should be like and from there decide on what made him to act in such a way in order to better fit in and maintain a place within the series. Have Cameron van Cleer be building his wealth by travelling to other countries, have hime design new weapons while the common rabble have their disputes with the dark knight. He should have better things to do than focus his time, energy and resources on batman (he is, after all, a millionare in a similar vain to Lex Luthor, Oliver Queen, and Bruce Wayne). During the events of Asylum, there should be a small weapons cache containing cocoon guns and other equipment that only his thugs on the inside know about. He should use the asylum as a place to gather intel on other super criminals in Gotham and resources (in the form of willing participants to his experiments and initiates to his crew) without ever really entering the asylum himself. Cameron van Cleer should be vehemently against the Arkham City Project during the events of City, but come around after he learns what he could gain from the super prison (more recruits, open training grounds, milions worth in tech from other supervillains). In fact, he could be the one that supplies the Tyger guards to Doctor Strange in exchange for a heafty sum of cash and the ability to throw his own enemies into the facility as well. During the events of Origins, he could be in the process of creating his wealth and therefore not be established at that point. Yet in Knight, he could be off in Santa Prosca arming the resistance fighters and making profit, while also being a key designer in the creation of the militia's drones, after the events of Knight transpire, however, he should once again enter Gotham in order to scavange any technologies that could prove useful to him in the future. What I want is for Killer Moth to take a similar approach to Cluemaster from the Batman Eternal storyline, a B-lister who ended up being much smarter than anyone thought possible, who had a hand at nearly every point over the course of the story, yet not putting batman on a pedestal and focusing on other "more important" matters. Finally (for real this time) please don't have hime become Charaxes. There's not much a giant winged monster can really do in the arkham universe, as proven by Man-Bat who spent his whole time flying around in circles and being a general creep. Other than accidently killing his wife during his first transformation, Man-Bat never really did anything that would warrent imprisonment or being labelled as a villain. If they do end up turning him into caraxes, actually make him imposing and give him a reason why he can't just get shot out of the air by a well-timed bullet. Make it so he retains his intelligence and will actively seekout and attempt to harm batman much like Killer Croc in Asylum. Also, if he becomes Charaxes, have it occur after the killer moth character is fully flushed out and presented, specifically towards the end of the storyline to serve as a final boss. The best way to do this would be to have a fight with the actual killer moth first, defeat him in a way that makes it seem like he died (for example, he loses control of his jetpack, crshes into the side of a bridge, explodes and falls into the river below (also he should cause a bridge to collapse as a referance to the infamous Mothman sightings and subsequent Silver Bridge Disaster that occured near Point Pleasant, West Virginia)) then have someone recover his body and put hime on life support. This would be a perfect place to introduce someone like Doctor Milo, who is a genius in chemistry and could develop a serum that bring Killer Moth back to life. That serum could be a mixture of the liquid from a lazarous pit, the man-bat transformation compound and titan/venom formula to better explain how he came back to life, why he transformed into a moth monster, and why he's so physically imposing and neigh indestructible. That is all, the end.”

Again, this was all written with Arkham Knight in mind, so a lot of it was focused on the game series.

I had an idea where Killer Moth, during the time Jason Todd was Robin, was also the Arkham Knight. Since, he began life as an “anti-Batman” , I liked the idea of him being blended together with another evil Batman counterpart.

I will never not love Killer Moth (he was actually one of the first Bat-Rogues I was exposed to thanks to The Batman and the Teen Titans animated series, so I'm nostalgically biased), so seeing him in a genuinely awesome technological invertebrate suit like this is amazing to me.
