Simply an incredible piece of fractal artwork... Marvelously intricate in form and detail... It conveys the sense of a lush tropical flower bursting into full bloom... =D

Thank you! I hardly ever use the standard Apo gradients now - I've made several with Apomap using my photos, and it's so easy to do. Apomap makes .map files and then there's a little utility by :icondatagram: that converts them into a .ugr for easy use with Apo and UF. I then go one further and turn them into .frs files which can be used in FE.

But I really liked how the colours on this one turned out - glad you do too!

sometimes i try to use my photos but the smooth palette thing doesn't work all that great....i just use the regular ones mostly ;)

You should try it with Apomap - it samples the photo slightly differently each time so the gradient it creates also looks different each time, and you can then choose which one(s) you want to keep...
