These fractal today are very lovely. 
I'm trying a little method a friend suggested. I have little patience with Apo as you know.
So he suggested to make the preview window much smaller. This increases the speed of the changes when you tweak. You can then put it back before rendering, I'm trying without doing that. It's an easy flame. If this proves a good way I might just try Apo out again. I don't mind the render times as long as it doesn't take ages to make the fractal.

I don't mind the render times as long as it doesn't take ages to make the fractal.What you can also do in the preview window is keep its original size but lower the quality in the box along the top to 15 - that means it refreshes in less than 5 seconds, normally. And then, in order to see how it would look when rendered, increase the quality to, say, 250, which refreshes in between one and two minutes.

Yes, I always do that but with Apo 7X it's still much slower than before, I mean than two years ago. Of course the quality is so much nicer.
Well I don't mind trying all sorts of things.
I'm still playing with Kaleider. I want to get the most out of the trial run. Eva has given me some ideas. She understand programmes very quickly.
