Happy First Day Of May 2026! One more month, and Summer is upon us. Wow, time flies And Happy Heavenly Birthday to my late grandfather, who would have turned 94 today. Happy Heavenly Birthday, Papaw. I love and miss you very much

You read the title right. I have returned to Linux Mint OS as of last night I had a good ride with Windows 11, and Windows as a whole, having been a Windows user since the MS-DOS days. But with where Windows is now headed, and AI growing all the more rampant even within the OS itself, I just couldn't trust it anymore ( Though I will still use Edge as my backup browser, but with AI stuff turned OFF. Same for FireFox). And the more I browsed YouTube and Reddit, the more I saw people turning to Linux as their daily driver, while I too was starting to miss it. Lo and behold, here we are. This time for good. Thankfully, this means I won't have to do as many reposts as before, since many of my previous uploads are already based around Linux Mint. I'm still tinkering with the newest install, so no desktop posts and stuff just yet, but I promise more is on the way Perfect way to kick off 2026 and Spring and every day afterwards. Thanks again for being so patient with me while I get back on

March is here, and Spring draws near. I expect it to be in full swing by next week, but we shall see Also, with all this talk of age verification coming to even PC use and AI continuing to be invasively on the rise, I have been highly considering going back to Linux Mint within the next few weeks or months. But since I am on a GMKtec mini PC, and not a Dell or some other more well-known desktop computer, getting it prepared to set up and install has been a bit more complicated. And I can't afford anything else right now, nor do I know how much it'd cost to have all this professionally done. I can't even afford to get my RAM upgraded now, thanks to AI. Ugh. In any case, it should be figured out eventually, God willing. I certainly look forward to using Linux again, and this time, for good And, of course, I hope to do more posts of photos and the like.
