Down at Equestria, the sky glows a soft orange fading to purple. Asteroid Angus soars lazily above Ponyville, his fiery trail reflecting off the clouds.
Asteroid Angus: Haven’t seen Applebloom in ages. Bet she’s cooked up another crazy Cutie Mark Crusader plan by now.
Asteroid landed at the entrance of Sweet Apple Acres as he followed the path to the farm. From a distance, Asteroid spots the Apple family gathered together sitting by a big apple pear tree near the edge of the orchard. The air is still, colored by the golden afterglow of sunset. Applejack, Big Mac, Apple Bloom, Granny Smith and an older stallion Angus doesn’t recognize.
Asteroid Angus: Huh. Wonder who this old fella is?
