NOTE: I'm really bad at updating DA these days and post to my tumblr artblog far more frequently. If you use tumblr I encourage you to follow me there for lots of art I don't post to DA, including concept art, sketches/WIPs, and design work.

Happy birthday, man!!  Even if you're not big on the actual date, hahahah, I still hope you had a wonderful day, and keep it up with the great art!  Your dragon girl stuff has been real interesting to see!  :D

Man that was like a teenager thing where I disliked the date for some weird reason, I have no idea. I don't even remember why I had a problem with it?

but anyway, thank you! and I definitely intend to continue with dragon girl and artings. :>

thank you for your concern! I am fine, I was a bit burnt out and it's a rough chapter for me (a lot of talking scenes, not much action) so it's been hard to motivate myself to work on the pages. I took the time off to work on some other things and I plan to start up again soon.

(Not sure where you reposted from though; if you mean my comics account on DA I don't think I've even logged on in over a year. But I don't check DA in general as often as I used to; my tumblr or the shoutbox on the machine site are better places to contact me if you want a quick reply.)

Yeah, I originally posted this on your comics account. And I'm terrible at using Tumblr so I don't really use it, and I only noticed the shoutbox the other day. It didn't appear to have any mention of your hiatus which I thought was odd, so I was wondering if it was from last year or something...

Yeah I know tumblr isn't for everyone (just as no website is universally liked/used), but it's where I'm at most frequently so it's worth mentioning. (and I have now posted a notice in the shoutbox in case anyone else checks there; thanks for the reminder! ideally I'd have posted the notification as a blog update, but I'm not sure if I can do that without it becoming stuck in the archive forever, which is not something I want.)

I'm certainly not immune to missed updates or taking breaks (and this is not my first unscheduled hiatus) but I have no intention of quitting FM as long as I still have hands and eyes. C: It's nice to hear my work is appreciated, and that some readers from the DA account followed to the main site.
