That's nice, but had it not been for the hat and the backdrop, it wouldn't have looked very...erm...pirate-y to me. It looks more steampunk than pirate, IMO.

I don't really get the pose, but there's something cool about the whole disjointedness of it accentuated by the corset. It looks like she's just recovering from the strong gust of a storm - kind of like an in-between moment rarely captured, which might also be why it seems strange.

Love the misty blue filter and the colors in general, though a bit more contrast might've been cool (just to give the details of that gorgeous costume more justice).

I think she did a great job with the pose, I really can notice the ship moving from it. Low contrast was a personal choice for these series. Thankyou for your critique, much appreciated.

That is awesome. I love pirates... hell, who doesn't. Importantly, it brings to mind Anne Bonny and Mary Read. Therefore, I love lesbian priates even more.
