It's not that Akira didn't enjoy Mattias's company. He just found it irritating to hear him run his mouth every five minutes. Usually, it took himself, his sister and sometimes Elfriede to get him to shut up before his mouth got himself and his friends in trouble. Of course, their efforts had a 55% success rate. 45% if they were dealing with Natalia.
"Dude, slow down," Mattias groaned as he trudged behind Akira. "I'm still tired after that battle we had."
Akira sighed. "Don't forget that I let you come with me, even when I never wanted you to."
"Hey, man, don't complain to me just 'cause you've got a big heart."
The two walked around the abandoned city, looking for clues on how to find Joker. Of course, the only things they came across were bullet casings, severed Accessory parts and decomposing Abductors. In short, they haven't made any progress at all.
"Akira, we should probably move on from here," Mattias suggested. "At this rate, we're not going to find anything about Joker."
