Description

Stravaig's Acuity

aka Pumpkin
Purebred Zlesdin Mare - 5 years old - Chestnut Sabino - Dimer Ranked
Owned by Stravaig Castle

General Information

Name: Stravaig's Acuity
Barn name: Pumpkin
Breed: Zlesdin
Bloodline: Pure
Sex: Mare
Height: 17hh / 172cm
Phenotype: Chestnut Sabino
Genetics: ee/Aa/nSb/nPrl

Personality: Acuity is a keen mare. She is very forward under saddle, and can get frustrated if her forwardness is not managed correctly. She enjoys walks outside, and can get very vocal when she is indoors for long periods of time; making her an absolute joy during the long Scottish winters. She tends to get quite fresh, which makes lunging before riding a must on most days, especially if she has had a day off before. While definitely manageable, his is not a mare you can put out to pasture and pick back up again after a week without an extra challenge. She is however eager to work, and with more training we can see her getting better and better at managing her own energy. She combines her enthusiasm with a healthy amount of intelligence; she knows exactly how much she can get away with with every given handler and uses this to her full advantage. Pumpkin is best approached with a firm yet fair hand from the very first moment of meeting her.
