Another long lapse in update, I know, but I feel it better to update when I can post art rather than when there is inactivity. Given my lack in a job since June of 2019, that has been a LONG while. I don't understand how other autistics can tolerate this kind of thing without cabin fever. Having grown up in a big, social family, this kind of situation has been gnawing at me for some time. With few D&D sessions going on and my cat passing away in early April, I felt personal experiences wouldn't matter much to share here. Fortunately, things have started to turn around. Today, I received my second vaccination, which means my whole family is coviid resistant (even though we can still catch it). My little brother is getting married on the 30th of May, and I may be close to a workaround for my phone issue. My folks claim there is a spare digital camera around, and upon finding it, I can use it to resume my photography. It looks like my life may indeed resume its course this

Thanksgiving and Christmas were both Silent Nights with little activity, although I did get a lot of D&D gifts to improve my ability to use my Paladin at his full potential. Now if only we could find time for a session with everybody... The first couple of weeks for this year have been OK. Game releases in March have my attention, one of my cousins got an Xbox 1 and download Destiny 2, which I've helped mentor him in and helped find his first Exotic weapon. A comic store visit to catch-up on Sonic comics, a few shiny Pokemon captures in Shield and Go, and my folks surprised me with my first new bicycle in 15 years. A quick visit to a bike shop for parts, and now I have interchangeable tires, new grips, a snug-fitting helmet, and an attached pedometer. With the promise of a future interview at the local Save Mart (when an opening comes up) and an increase in social gaming opportunities, I have a good feeling about this year. Getting a date might be hoping for too much, but I do

I apologize for another long stretch of nothing posted, in journal or art. Its been a rough start of my favorite time of year. The only positives were my losing 20 pounds over summer, our house remaining a Halloween hit, and my successful attempt at cooking regular and low-fat batches of pumpkin mousse. The bad news has been a long and smoky-skied September, a lack of possible holiday outings (no Halloween mini-golf or pumpkin patch), my cousin's mother's mother passed away in October, and... My dad's dad passed away Sunday morning. It wasn't that big a blow for us, since he is no longer suffering from dementia. Rather, we're upset he never recalled anything, including how to feed himself. All those scouting stories (and his desire to give up every masonic award for that Eagle Rank), his time as a referee for the Warriors, every nickname had for the family; all gone from his memory. I've spent the last 5 years missing his voice calling me "spunk-water", and old reference from
