Who DAt? It's moonbeam13!

Have you ever seen a staff or volunteer symbol or ambassador badge and wondered "Who DAt?" Welcome to the interview series that's hittin' DA streets to find out more about these very deviants. [EMOTE] Featuring a Wild Card question which is selected at random from a pool of questions. If you have a suggested random/fun question to add to the list, please feel free to comment here. [DEVIATION] Who would be more fitting to start this series than @moonbeam13! We had a nice chat at a wonderful café on 13th Avenue... Ahoy and Welcome! If you'd be so kind, what is your preferred name? Also, do tell, what is the delightfully devious story of your username? Preferred name is Danie. “Moonbeam” was given to me by a friend who got me started on DeviantArt, but the name was already taken, so I added my favorite number to the end because that’s just what you did in those days. Transformation complete, NEW growth level unlocked

DeviantArt turned 25 this past year and celebrated over 100 million registered users. To be precise we’re approaching 110 million users! DA Trip

How do I begin to talk about how much this trip meant to me? How do I start talking about how this group of friends I’ve truly connected with? The inspiration each and every one of them brought to me? The belief in myself that has been reinstated? I’ve always been the kind of person who’s only had a handful of friends, because I always felt too distant or depressed as a person to connect with a group. Like I was being tolerated or never truly included, but this, this was the first time I really felt included by the what? 20 people on the trip? Grabbing coffee in the mornings, having drinks at night after work. Just being surrounded by people who enjoyed each other company was a breath of fresh air for a person who works from home for such long hours. It almost feels like a dream having such a strong group of inspired people, each amazing at what they do, around me. Pushing me to do better for no other reason than wanting me to succeed. Knowing that I want the exact same for
