Pokemon - Lorelei Taking Off her Wetsuit

For this week’s picture I decided to commission a new type of picture from my artist associate HanasakiTsubomi. Since my previous pictures that I commissioned her were swimsuit pictures, this time I decided to commission a wetsuit picture from her since those are my other specialty in art. As such I decided to have her draw Lorelei taking off her wetsuit in a similar way that Kanan does that in Love Live Sunshine, showing her bikini top in the process. Yes I know that this still technically counts as an half swimsuit picture but this still counts as a wetsuit picture ^^. Plus it’s been a while since we had some wetsuit fanservice, can’t have too much of that compared to other types of fanservice ^^. After Lorelei has practiced a plenty with her Dewgong and other Pokemon during her scuba dive, she decides to return to the surface and take her gear off. Getting her heavy scuba gear off takes a lot of effort from her, this combines with the summer heat makes her feel quite hot while wearing her wetsuit. As a natural reaction to her body overheating, our Ice Pokemon expert unzips her wetsuit and thus lets the cool air flow into her body. We all knew that an ice expert would be efficient in withstanding the summer heat after all ^^. Lorelei certainly looks stunning wearing stripping her wetsuit like that, her red hair looks gorgeous shining like that in the sun. Plus her glasses and the composed expression make her look like a true pro diver for whom both diving and prepping for it comes off as a normal part of day like breathing. In both diving and looking beautiful while doing it Lorelei more than delivers ^^.

The colouring process of this picture was straightforward since I have already coloured Lorelei twice without too many issues in her wetsuit before based on her Let's Go games colour scheme, and the third time is not any different. This picture is in fact even simpler than the previous pictures featuring her since she doesn’t have her scuba gear on or have her Pokemon outside of their Pokeballs, not that I complain after working on a lot of pictures during the last months ^^. Since this was a pretty simple picture overall, I decided to add a simple background to this picture to give better atmosphere to Lorelei’s lovely wetsuit scene. I am pretty used to adding a background to pictures so it was also pretty simple add, definitely beats just having a white background ^^. Overall I am satisfied how this picture turned out, a nice way to complete Lorelei’s small series of scuba pictures she recently had in my gallery. Although I would be more than eager to make that small series into a “big” series someday but I have to wait before moving forward with that ^^. Big thanks to Hanasaki for drawing the lineart for this wonderful picture, her mastery of Pokemon artstyle is definitely a sight to behold. I look forward to commission her again in the future and I recommend you all to consider doing commissions with her as well, I can’t get enough of her wonderful artstyle!
