Nothing but the tub. Normally it's because I don't have time to go see lakes and Colorado isn't near any oceans whatsoever, so I've never even seen the ocean. But I used to swim in pools and places like Waterworld until I found out it's like swimming in the toilet, then I said no more.

You've never seen the ocean? You should definitely put that on a bucket list!

Okay! Dad wants to go to Hawaii in 2015 so I'll see the ocean then! It's just shark infested waters so I won't be able to just swim wherever I want, the only places you can swim are marked off.

Well, even if the ocean areas are marked you will still see and feel the ocean then :aww:

Den del av Vänern jag är uppvuxen med hade sand/lera och knappt inga fiskar eller alger eller dylikt. Det var bara sjukt långgrunt. Där emot vid havet brukar det vara musslor, vassa stenar, alger och de fördömda maneterna (avskyr dem). Dock levde jag i typ 18 år i tron att ormar var på sjöbotten så jag var livrädd för avlånga skuggor, bara för att sedan få veta att Sverige typ bara har ormar som färdas ovanpå ytan ^^;

:lmao:

swimming pools. I like the fact it is a more controlled enviroment, I dont like swiming in something where I have no clue whats in it

In a way you don't know what's in the swimming pool either, people pee and do all sorts of stuff in them. ;) But I get what you mean, swimming pools was my fav choice when I was younger even though the lake was right behind it >.> I had 5 min to both pool and lake from my home :lmao:

haha well in the swimming pool I can see the floor in the ocean you really cant. Or in a lake xD also I really hate the feeling of mud and such with lakes ;__;

I don't know what kind of lakes you have but here you can definitely see the floor and some of them are sand/mud (you really need to dig feet down in it to feel mud) or just with rocks and stuff. Oceans usually are pretty see through, what I don't like about them are the seaweed and jellyfish :fear:

It is awesome - they even have built-in showers! ;P

And even if they don't, it is a wonderful way to truly feel part of and surrounded by nature :love:

Haha, really in touch with the nature ey?

Sounds lovely, I haven't really found any lakes or creeks like that in Sweden. Or I have, it was one lake surrounded by forest but a small village on one end (where the "beach" was). Lovely place, it was still warm during the night so I usually bathed then instead of together with all the kids ;)

Yes! I have done it before in Norway, not far from the border with Sweden actually. It was one of the best places. :love:
