I was just letting my eyes wander though the nice textures and the bold use of shadows and then "it" jumped out at me. Well done!

Your drawing jumped out even as a thumbnail/preview size in comparison to a lot of the other art. Between the high contrast and the dramatic sweeping composition, it differs a great deal from all the high-polish digital art. Stylistically it harkens back to what one might call the romantic age of illustrations (Beardsley, Rackham, Pyle), so that also makes it stick out.
