Cthulhu Spawn

Again, the comosition is impressive. Awesome Cthulhu depicted in all his magnificence. Yet again, the strokes are somehow spoiling the accomplishment of the illustration...with a deeper black between his legs and on the top right corner of the door Cthulhu would stand forward...the ink strokes are even stoping around the spear of the guy on the left for some reason, giving an unfinished aspect...What i don't understand is why leaving so little disturbing white using strokes of ink when you obviously want a black background? With a uniform black the Character would stand forward as more impressive. When i saw the illustation as a thumbnail i was impressed, when i looked in full view the strokes went on my nerves.
Enough for critics: your compositions/details/facial expressions are awesome.
