Dancing Stick Guy by PeterSFay Dancing Stick Guy by PeterSFay
There's this book called "Animating in Twelve Hard Lessons" by Bob Heath. It's a rather old book that I acquired that has examples and tutorials on how to do animation. Seeing as how I had an open-source animation app, I figured I could give it a shot by inbetweening this dancing stick figure. It started as three frames, with the first and third being keyframes. Then, after drawing the inbetween, I expanded on the animation by copying and flipping frames so it looks like the stickman is dancing. There are more examples in this book that I am looking forward to do. And hey, as long as it keeps me away from Minecraft.

Let's hope so...that Minecraft is addictive I'll say.  All jokes aside, nice work here.  Hope to see some more.  What's your open source software?

It's called Krita. You can download it here: It took me a while to figure out the keyframe process, but I got it.

Thanks!!  I don't know if it exists anymore, but a freeware called Pencil was rated pretty highly a few years back.

Yeah, I tried Pencil for a while. I had problems with it exporting into a movie file. I think it also crashed a lot.
