Each village has a family-run garage / gas station. Although it was unusual for ladies to take up mechanical trades in the 1950s and 60s eras, the daughters of the owners always lent a hand in the workshops, fixing farm machinery and dispensing fuel / gas to the few car owners in the village. As well as the male apprentices taking to the ring, the owners' daughters too put on the gloves and were more than willing to display their muscles.
