Hmm... I like that he is very much at peace and in touch with nature and what she has to offer despite the looming onset of nasty, dirty civilization in the background. Plus, floating while you sleep is super cool :) Great work, Pete!

reminds me of Beeshma, some guy from hinduistic mythology...for some reason it was granted to him that he can only die if he wants to....but then in some huge battle he lay on battlefield on arrows that stuck in his back and he could not go away, also he had pain, but he could not die...long time he lay there and then he decided that he wants to die....

well, but your pic is the pacifist version of that :P

Hmm, is this showing how nature is slowly but surely getting pushed to the side? I just thought that when I saw the buildings and smoke in the background.
I like the colors and just the whole theme. :)

Oh, what happened in the dream?

I once had a dream where I had arrived to a strange town where I knew no one and had never been before, and I had no idea how or why I was there. The whole dream I tried to get out, find away back home, but no trains left that place and none of the people who lived there knew the road away... I've actually had a couple of dreams of that same, strange dream-town. And that city has lots of buildings like these...

The dream was odd - I was in several kinds of landscapes throughout the dream, though I was in the same general area. The buildings changed as the dream progressed. They were like this when I had to fight some people bright colored. Earlier in that dream, I was in one of these buildings. It had with very low ceilings. I was aware that I was dreaming for this early portion of the dream (lucid dreaming), and was thoughtfully exploring the dream world. That was the first time I ever tried dream spinning (a technique to keep oneself lucid while dreaming, and to keep from waking up. [link]).

Under the big towers~

Beautiful idea...I like the colour scheme you used.. and the shading, especially on the buildings-they look like they were painted with real oil paints~ :aww:

heheheeeeee...I disagree,BUT i know what you mean :P Im the same with my own work.
Its very different how the artist sees his/her work and how others do...
But to me all your work seems nearly perfect..I say "nearly" cause there IS no such thing as perfection and if there was..it would be boring.
