Fair-trade Dark Chocolate
I bought some today, and it's so damn bland...
I guess the delicious, rich taste of chocolate really does come from the salty tears of orphans in sweatshops, the blood from the torn-up hands of men breaking open the cocoa beans, and a single mother grinding the beans with the bones of her still-born child...
Finally figured it out.
I never really knew what I drew before.
But now I know.
I draw causeless superheroes and monsters with no fury
I draw protagonists without drive and I draw deadbeat gods.
I draw urban legends that never see the light of day,
I draw mysterious strangers without flair, and I draw athletes performing sports I do not understand.
I'm a character designer, without stories to put them in.
