The Air Force

Made for the "Journey to unknown place" contest, held by The-Imaginarium / And inspired by the amazing "His Dark Material" book trilogy, by Philip Pullman, that I read over and over again when I was a child ! Even though these books were written for young adults, I advise everyone to try it !

In the books, there is a people of witches who at a point of the story, go on war. So that's what the idea the journey to an unknown place made me think of, even more because this books is also about travelling to parallel universes. I chose to add geese because in the world in which the action takes place at the beginning, people all have a "deamon", a kind of pet that can take the form of any animal and to which they are deeply linked (they are a part of them, they can't be separated). The deamon of Serafina Pekkala, the queen of witches, happens to be a goose.
