It is time for a new ID.

I'm beginning to fall inlove with this drawing. ;P I havn't felt this happy and satisfied with a drawing in a long long time. I guess that is why I never finish it.. but don't worry I will! ... Hopefully tomorrow!^^

That drawing is awesome! the paper you're using seems kind of big, what type of scanner do you use?

I have an A4 scanner. I do multiple scans of my drawings and then I put them together in the computer. Sometimes I take photos though.

So you make collage-type things of your drawings?

Here is a good tutorial on how to connect the scans and removing the lines and shadows.

This is pretty much how I do it.

I like seeing this "work in progress" sort of things because they make the actual drawings look more... real.Of course, I knew they were real before, but it's a whole new perspective.

So I'm not the only one who draws on my knees, eh? Good. I was afraid most artists had fancy tables and heavens know WHAT else.

I think it looks better when you can see it in a another environment. A photo like this makes you see kinda how it looks in real life.
Yeah I do that when I feel comfortable with the drawing. :) I would love to have a fancy table though ;)

Ha, that's pretty much the exact way I draw, that's kind of creepy actually. Same set-up. If you don't mind me asking, what materials did you use for this? Trying to branch out and experiment more, and that doesn't really look like a regular pencil in your hand.

O_O You must have born with a pencil in your hand!!! A camera would be ashamed if it saw your drawing...

It has taken me FAR to long to get through your gallery. BRAVO mate. A staggering talent and one I will watch with the greatest interest.

For now I have fave'd only this piece because it shows the process of your art - something I sometimes prefer to look at instead of looking at the end result. But having said that I must stress that I think the final piece is just staggering in its execution..

In the words of my avatar, "I'll be back...!"

Have a good holiday and prefect 2008

Outstanding work! The whites and darks and in-betweens--fabulous! I've been told that it's best to draw on an incline, looks like you make your own. Again, great work!
